Here this past Friday we had a good run of Holstein/X-bred cattle selling approximately 830 head.  The market was steady to slightly higher on the higher quality cattle that are carrying adequate flesh for the winter which has snuck up on us these last few days. There were no lot loads offered at this sale.  We are definitely seeing better demand on the Holstein Feeders carrying decent flesh heading into winter.
