Market Results from the Special Summer Feeder Cattle Sale Friday July 28th, 2017.

Here this past Friday we had a, really nice run of high quality selling 1,519 cattle that was pretty much steady with two weeks ago on the cattle of equal group size and quality and even a touch higher in some spots..

Included in the auction today were about 700 Holstein Steers all weights, and a little over 800 Colored Cattle with several high quality groups of yearling steers coming straight off grass.. Demand was excellent on all cattle and I can really tell the yearling situation may become very short very fast as move towards fall with many struggling to fill pens with these highly sought grass yearling steers and heifers..

The next Summer Feeder Cattle Sale will be in two weeks August 11thstarting time 9am sharp selling both Holstein Steers and Beef Steers and Heifers..

Also very soon you will be receiving our annual fall newsletter with our lineup of sales and dates for our Special Fall/Winter/Spring Roundup Feeder Cattle Sales Schedule,  A little commentary and our preferred vaccination protocols..

You will also be informed more in detail of what is in store for you this coming June as we will be hosting the 2018 Livestock Marketing Association World Livestock Auctioneering Championship.  This is an exciting and huge deal and we will be asking for your help to illustrate and showcase Agriculture right here in our little part of the World  to the entire country..
