Results the Special Back to Grass Roundup New Crop Calf/Yearling Sale Friday May 18th..

Here this past Friday we had a nice run with many bunches of high quality cattle in the auction selling 1,303 head on a market that was pretty much steady on the lighterweight cattle and steady to somewhat lower on the heavy weight to go to the feedyard.. 

The availabilty of true blue, green cattle for grass were the shortest in supply that I've seen in a very long time and will remain in short supply moving forward.. 

There were many reputation big yearling cattle in the sale that sold well against the futures  in light of the Chicago Funny Money once again busy at work playing their board games in suits and ties in the city...

 

-- Speaking of the Chicago Funny Money.. 

 

--With Cash Fed Cattle selling $15-$20 over the June Board at mostly  $120-$126 in the auctions here this week accompanied by Choice Box Beef Cutout Values at $232 Friday(Makes a choice steer worth about $147 Live by the way ) while the Chicago Mercantile Crime Syndicate closes Spot month June on Friday barely above a measely $1.00?

-- Beef demand on fire. 

--Beef movement at historica levels. 

-- Then we have the Suits and Ties in Chi-town who  are the phony dead weight anchor on the boat which has been and fundamentally by equation should be cruising nothing but full steam ahead. 

 

-- All you hear is "the board,  the board,  board".. Blah Blah Blah. What good is "the board" anyhow when it has become a total disconnect from the true fundamentals of the beef industry.

-- "The Board" was designed in the early 1900's as a financial  protectionary tool for the American Farmer/Rancher, but today is nothing more than a Huge Money $peculative Game conducted by the clueless in regards to reality who work on average  less than 5 days a week with every weekend and holiday off.. 

--These are the people who mold the future of the beef industry by ltechnical ong and short profit taking daily between the opening and closing bell while we fundamentally work 8 days a week to keep everything afloat and maintain job security for the Chicago Funny Money every business trading day.  

--The Chicago  Mercantile reminds me of a giant outhouse made of glass with all the so called factual(sarcasm)Government Reports serving as the toilet paper.  

I think you can easily define what  the 2 added together = in daily value to us  who live out here in the real world with boots in the dirt everyday. 

-- Answer.. 

--The only thing in the basin of the Chicago  Outhouse is stench . Zero value.. 

 

--- I am to the point that I think the Merc should  be unplugged totally from u beef industry and just let supply and demand take care of itself.  We would be so much further ahead. 

-- End of rant.  

 

--This coming Friday May 25th starting time 9am sharp will  be the last Special "Back to Grass" Roundup All Holstein Steer/ Dairy Cross Feeder Cattle Sale of the season...
